NCIS局長も参加する会合がホテルの1階でおこなわれ、そこにライト軍曹が突然落下してくる。現役時代は表彰されるほど英雄だった彼に、少女殺害の疑惑がのしかかる。

アビーがマクギーと指紋について会話しているシーン。
Abby:Especially this one from the key card. Pristine index with an almost perfect whorl and three, count ‘em, three, McGee, equally spaced deltas. It’s a work of art. Then we have the short and curlies. The hair, there’s no follicle and no DNA, so I am checking it for drug history. If it is Sergeant Wright’s, considering his extensive medical records, this should read like a drugstore inventory.（特にこのキーカードのものはね。ほぼ完全な渦巻きつき人差し指。しかも3つも。等間隔で。これは芸術作品ね。次は陰毛。毛包もDNAもないから、薬歴を調べるわ。これが軍曹のものなら、薬局なみの品揃えの薬が出るはず。）

証拠品の陰毛の鑑定にはナノレベルの顕微鏡が必要なため、鑑識器具の展示会に潜入したアビー。
そこで必要な器具を見つけ、証拠品を見てもらっているシーン。

Marty:Did I just say something funny?（なにか変なこと言った？）
A:No. No, I just it’s just that we’re having this conversation about stuff that usually makes people run screaming from the room, but we’re talking about it like it was last night’s football game. You don’t like football, do you?（いいえ。普通の人ならしたがらない会話を、私たちまるでサッカーの試合のことのように話してるから。サッカーは好きじゃないでしょ？）
M:No.（ああ。）
A:Oh, good. It’s just nice that you understand without having to go find a dictionary. So you said vaccines?（よかった。辞書なしで会話できるって素敵よね。で、ワクチンて言った？）
M:I said vaccines.（ああ、言ったよ。）
A:That’s got to be it. A vaccine for what?（それよ。でも、なんのワクチン？）
M:Aluminum hydroxide is used as an adjuvant in hepatitis A and Lyme disease.（水酸アルミはA型肝炎とライム病に。）
A:There’s traces of chloride.（塩化物の跡もあるわね。）
M:Not just any old chloride. Benzethonium chloride. It’s a preservative.（塩化ベンゼトニウムだ。防腐剤だよ。）
A:Aluminum hydroxide,formalin and benzethonium chloride. I know that combination.（水酸アルミ、ホルマリン、ベンゼトニウム。どこかで聞いたことある組み合わせだわ。）
M:How do you know that combination?（どこで？）
A:I don’t know. It must have come through my lab or something.（さあ。ラボにあったのかも。）
M:The only thing I can think of using benzethonium chloride for as a preservative is anthrax vaccine.（唯一思いつくワクチンは、炭疽病だ。）
A:Ooh, anthrax. Breathe in the spores and you die.（胞子を吸えば死ぬ。）
M:You don’t have an unhealthy obsession with death now, do you?（自殺願望はないよね？）
A:Oh, no, no, it’s just a hobby. Anthrax vaccine, that’s why I knew it. I got one right here. Ow, pain-memory response.（いいえ、ただの趣味よ。炭疽病ワクチンね。私、ここに打ったことあるわ。痛い思い出が。）
M:So, good or bad for your Marine?（海軍にとってはいい知らせ？）
A:It’s bad. It’s very bad. A lot of Marines were vaccinated for anthrax after 9/11. I have to make a phone call.（ダメよ。すごく。多くの海兵が接種してるから。電話しなきゃ。）
